What we make
We make wine shipping boxes. Not just any box, but a structure that has to survive courier depots, sea containers, and a customer's front porch. You tell us the bottle, the quantity, and the route; we build the box around those three things. That means choosing the board, the insert, and the closure as one system, not as separate parts.
Most damage happens at the neck and shoulder. A bottle that can move even a few millimeters inside the box will eventually find a hard surface. So we control the insert first. Velvet trays, EVA foam, moulded pulp, or a simple corrugated divider, each one has to hold the bottle at four points and pass our shake, tilt, and invert checks before we sign off on the structure.

How we control it
Board standard
We use greyboard at 1200 g minimum, 1400 g recommended for spirits. Facing paper is 157 g minimum specialty or coated. No recycled greyboard, no high-moisture paper.
Insert rule
The bottle is held at four points. No unsupported neck or shoulder. We shake for 10 seconds, tilt 45 degrees, and invert. If it moves, the insert fails.
Control tolerances
Insert plus or minus 1 mm. Box body plus or minus 2 mm. Foldable boxes: creases must not crack, magnet position plus or minus 1 mm, corners 90 degrees when erected.
Pre-shipment checks
We do a 1.2 m six-face drop test with the bottle loaded. Stacking top load of 40 kg or more for 24 hours. Truck and sea vibration simulation, no internal movement.
Why buy direct
You are not buying from a catalog. You send us the bottle dimensions or a sample, and we build the box to those numbers. Our control tolerance is plus or minus 1 mm on the insert and plus or minus 2 mm on the box body. That is tight enough that a bottle does not rattle, but not so tight that the insert fights you on the packing line. We also check magnet position, crease integrity, and corner squareness on every foldable box before it leaves the floor.
Colour is the other thing we control. Pantone matching, a first-article approval, and mid-run sampling. Black, deep blue, and burgundy are the hardest to hold, so we watch those more carefully. If you need a rigid box that shows up on a retail shelf and still survives a courier route, that is the kind of job we do. If you want the cheapest possible box and do not care about the insert, we are probably not the right supplier.

Single-Bottle Spirits Gift Box
A single-bottle spirits gift box built for a whisky, brandy or tequila bottle that actually fits. We size inserts from your physical bottle, not the stated capacity, so the neck and shoulder stay supported in transit. The box ships as a rigid lid-and-base, magnetic flip-top or foldable rigid, and it gets drop tested, stacked and vibrated before it leaves.

The trade-off is simple: you save storage and freight space, but you take on assembly labour and you must control crease, magnet and corner quality on the physical sample.

What is the best insert for a wine shipping box?
It depends on the bottle and the route. For a standard 750 ml bottle in a corrugated shipper, a moulded pulp insert or a corrugated divider works well and is cost-effective. For heavier bottles or spirits, EVA foam or a velvet tray gives more protection. The key is four-point contact and no movement. We test every insert with the actual bottle before we approve a structure.
Can I get a sample before mass production?
Yes. We offer two sample types. A blank sample shows the structure, the insert, and the closure without printing. A printed sample shows the final visual with your artwork. Send us the bottle dimensions or a sample bottle, your reference design, and the quantity. We will make the sample and ship it to you for approval before we start production.
